Hey, my name is Brivaël but you may know me better as Kang. I’ve been professionally frame building for more than five years now and with about a hundred and fifty frames made over these years, I feel confident saying that I know what it is to create bespoke frames!
My love for bicycles started about ten years ago when I repainted and built my first fixed gear like many people. From that moment, I knew that I wanted these two-wheeled objects and this sport to be part of who I am for the rest of my life.
After trying many different types of bicycles, I discovered a passion for long rides using road or fixed gear bicycles. I also had the opportunity to ride many gravel bikes and even time trial bikes. Thanks to all these riding experiences, I managed to understand how every angle, length or even material influence the way a frame feels while riding it. With Quokka, my goal is to incorporate all of these cycling experiences into unique and accomplished geometries that offer agility, comfort or performance to suit each riding style.
As a craftsman, I pour my heart and soul into each and every frame I build. I believe that a bicycle is not just a mode of transportation, it is above all a functional art form. From the initial concept to the finishing touches, I pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every Quokka frame produced is of the highest quality and reflects my take on bicycles.
