Mica kept this project in mind for 10 years before deciding to get it underway. After spending several years looking for a builder willing to take on this somewhat crazy project, Mica finally found us, just 15 kilometers from his place.
The spec sheet was quite detailed while still leaving plenty of room for imagination. Cable routing through the stays, 27.5 x 3" tire clearance, sliding dropouts for a future single-speed setup, bent tubes, a rigid steel fork with geometry adjusted to accommodate a suspension fork that can be added later, it’s all there. In addition, all the components that accompany this beautiful frame had to come from France or Europe (as long as this was feasible).
We put in over a hundred working hours, from defining the specifications to assembling the bike.
